Our Mission

Have Fun.

Make Delicious & Nutritious Food.

Delight Our Customers.

Give Back to Our Community.

It’s a simple mission, but making it happen requires complex behind the scenes action, dedication, and an amazing team.

From the very beginning, it has been our philosophy to never sacrifice quality for ease or simplicity’s sake.

We pride ourselves not only on the dishes we create, but also on extending a personal customer service that is seldom found these days.

Stop in and see us. Give us a call. Let us know how we can help ease your busy evenings. We will always do our best to exceed your expectations.

Our Story Over The Years

Summer & Fall

Dan and Audra Nasser begin testing their make-your-meals concept by holding informal pilot classes with friends in their home kitchen.

By November, a website is being designed, and the lease is signed for our Carrollwood store.

February

Dinner Done officially opens in Carrollwood offering make-your-meals classes and private parties 3 days/week. We offer 14 different entrees and average 20 customers per week the first month.

Dinner Done is featured in both the Tampa Tribune and the St. Pete Times.

February

Make-your-meals classes are now offered 6 days/week. A large walk-in cooler and freezer is installed, allowing us to expand the current 14-entree offering to include side dishes, appetizers and desserts – it is the beginning of Grab & Go! Store pickup and home delivery are now also available.

November

Dinner Done branches out from make-your-meals classes with a new offering: our first Everything but the Turkey side dish package!

January

Tampa Bay Metro recognizes Dinner Done as Metro’s Best Prepared Meals ToGo. It will be the first of many “Metro’s Best”, with this year being our most recent.

June

Dinner Done is recognized by the Tampa Chamber of Commerce as a Small Business of the Year Semi-Finalist.

February

Valentine’s Day Gourmet ToGo packages are offered for the first time. This fresh, ready to cook offering will prove to be our most popular special package each year.

May

As people begin to shift from make-your-meals classes to using our pickup and delivery service, we expand the Grab & Go selection to offer 20+ ready to cook entrees plus a variety of other dishes available for in-store purchase.

December

Holiday Cookie Kits are added to our annual holiday offerings.

February

Responding to fast-growing demand for pickup and delivery, a new website is implemented and Grab & Go is sold online for the first time.

With new tools in place, we increase our offering for pickup and delivery, growing it to include over 80 different items available for purchase at any time.

May

In coordination with school PTAs, Dinner Done begins offering ready to cook dinner packages delivered to schools during Teacher Appreciation Week.

March

Unexpectedly, Covid hits. Make-your-meals classes are suspended, but the store remains open for pickup and delivery. We quickly reorganize the kitchen space to allow our team to work safely and more efficiently.

Complimentary curbside service is implemented.

May

To help manage the growing number of pickup orders, a small pouching machine for sauces is purchased. This implementation minimizes bagging errors, improves overall packaging, and provides a more convenient home experience as most entrees can now be packed into all-in-one kits.

June

Recognizing that some of the Covid-related changes are here to stay, our website is updated to make online ordering for pickup and delivery even easier.

The Carrollwood store is remodeled to provide a more modern instore shopping experience. Our 17-year old logo is given an update.
Focus remains on our core mission and, particularly, on growing in ways that best serve our team and our community.

Thanks for being a part of the adventure!
