This dish includes 2 parts: Chicken/Veggies and Dumpling Dough.
QuickThaw: QuickThaw kit by submerging well-sealed containers in water for 15-20 min.
Chicken/Veggies: Once thawed, heat a large pot over medium-high heat. Add a little oil and sauté chicken and veggies about 7 min, stirring occasionally. Once chicken is beginning to brown, add 4 cups water and bring to a boil.
Dumplings: On a lightly floured surface, roll dumpling dough to 1/4-1/2″ thick and, using a butter knife, cut into 1″ squares. Alternatively, make teaspoon-sized balls with the dough. Add dumplings to the boiling soup. Turn heat to low and gently simmer, uncovered, for 20-30 minutes.
Dumpling Note: The dumplings will plump up while cooking!
Internal Temperature (Chicken): 165F
Serving Suggestions: Serve with a fresh green salad. Pinot Grigio.
Please Note: Cooking times are estimates and vary based on your actual oven, stovetop, or slow cooker, as well as item thickness and starting temperature.
